Bin Laden: not found yet

Some comments have been made about the obvious fact that, despite all the effort (quite rightly) put into trying to find Bin Laden, he is still hasn't been caught.

A fact of justice is it's deterrent value, that is, others won't be so likely to commit a crime if they see that others get caught and correctly punished.

We all know that many criminals never get caught.

However, this should not deceive us: everyone of us will have to, some time, give an account of all that we've done, whether anyone else knows about it or not.

The Bible says:

  • Be sure your sin will find you out. (Numbers 32:23)
    •

    It also says:

  • Every one of us shall give account of himself to God. (Romans 14:12)
    •

    So you see, whatever we do, we cannot hide it from God.
