Hello. I am Andrew,
the father of Priscilla and Miriam. I was born, the third
of 4 children, in Bermondsey, South East London, on 19th
April 1953. I attended "Alma" primary school in Bermondsey, and later on "Central Foundation" boy's school in the City of London. When I was only a few years old, the assembly (church) my parents were members of gathered in half of a railway arch, under the railway about 1 mile south of London Bridge. |
| In 1969, I entered an
apprenticeship in engineering with Elliot Brothers,
Lewisham London. Five years later I went to Queen Mary
College, East London, where I obtained a BSc in
electrical engineering. After working nearly 20 years for
GEC Elliot Brothers, in 1993 I was made redundant from
the same company, then known as Siemens Plessy. In the year 1983, I moved to a flat in Greater London. To read my Christian testimony, click here. It was a special delight to me when my elder daughter, Priscilla, obeyed the Lord and was baptised. The second such occasion was when my younger daughter, Miriam, was baptised. Since the Lord took my wife Danella, through cancer, I am continuing with His help and guidance, to bring up Priscilla and Miriam. I am thankful that the Lord is helping me in this task. They need to continue to grow and become women for Him. If you are a Christian, please pray for us. It is a real joy to me to see how my daughters have grown. They are both at present living with relaives. One of my interests is digital recording of music, using my PC. I also publish some recordings on the web. My earlier career in Electronic Engineering also introduced me to programming, using Turbo Pascal. I recently began a short-term contract job with an electronics company in the city of London . Other interests include cycling: I commute to work at least 10 miles each way on a Brompton. Also, I have recently begun to learn to swim. Here's a little game you might
