Separation
Christmas is coming, time of joy it is
true.
Take care where you go and take care what
you do.
Remember the Lord watches o'er us each
day,
Grieved will He be if from the pathway we
stray.
Pantomime, cinema, not places for you.
Arranged by the world and enjoyed by them
too.
You sit among those who deny His dear
name,
Your testimony lost which is much to your
shame.
So enjoy the company of the Lord's people
dear,
(The world's follies past, you'll be glad
you weren't near)
Think of HIM there, nailed to Calvary's
tree,
To rescue His Own from such vanity.
Flee from the pleasures of this sick and
sad world.
May your, "Joy in Him" be a
banner unfurled.
For we have real pleasures more precious
by far,
So let it be seem by the places we are.
